She is Greek with origins from Anatolia (Asia Minor - Ionia), the music and dance of Smyrne( Izmir)  is part of her heritage. Her travels around Near and Middle East ignited a passion for the dance but she  managed to pursue her dream  many years afterwards, while she was in the United States, where she became interested in studying Dance Ethnology and still continues her journey to learn more about this beautiful art form, Contemporary dance and yoga practice.  She has also explored  Kathak, Odisi and West African dance classes and her love for  music and dance also reflects in the  Latin dance genres. She also learned 8 years ago the beautiful dance art of Hula but only now she feels comfortable enough to add it in her dance class lessons! She also studied Greek Folcloric Dances and has taken educational courses and professional workshops.  She recently got a ballroom dance scholarship through The Heritage Dance Foundation and is very excited to learn  new and exciting Ballroom styles.
